  : Lovely pub & position with helpful friendly staff
  : After long drive we were looking forward to dinner & relax. On arrival we were told their kitchen was closed. Rooms were great & there a kitchette at end of the corridor with coffee, tea, some cereal & packet of croissants. So that was breakfast - a DIY job. Only options were fish & chips or a spar. It was pouring with rain so asked for local restaurants. First was fully booked, 2nd we could not find & then found another which was brilliant. We skipped breakfast & stopped on our journey. Not impressed!!

  : The room was massive but cosy, plenty of heating. Very relaxing. Atmosphere in bar was very pleasant
  : As always - as a single person I had to pay for 2 people!

  : The rooms were beautifully decorated, huge comfortable beds. Timsbury is a lovely village close to Bath.
  : The room smelt like smoke, the window was opened when we got there. The bin hadnt been emptied and a used towel was left on the chair, the carpets were covered in stains and needed a good clean , yuk! . The picture of breakfast on booking.com was of a full English fry up, pancakes etc but we were told to help our selves to breakfast in a small kitchen . There was an opened packet of croissants with only two left, there were four of us, a loaf of sliced white bread, three jars of Muesli that looked like theyd been there a long time, a bag of opened apples and some marg. As you can imagine we were very disappointed with this so called breakfast. We thought maybe we could buy one at the pub but no as the pub didnt open until 12 , I feel this was false advertising and the photos should be taken down. Both rooms could do with a full length mirror and the smaller room needs another bedside lamp as it only has one . Its such a shame as the decor was lovely and with a bit of extra attention to detail these could be lovely rooms but we will not be back

  : Nice big room, everything was clean apart from some large stains on the carpet! N
  : Wi-Fi was non existent. Coffee and tea facilities were down the hall and not in the room, pub wasnt serving food so I had to drive out to the next village to get something to eat. Breakfast was some croissants from the fridge, loaf of bread on the side or an apple! Would be better off not advertising that breakfast is included as most people expect something cooked for them

  : Location and room were ok.
  : Breakfast was not as advertised, it was self service from a small kitchen. Bread and croissants, eggs but no means of cooking, normal coffee ran out so only decaf. Advert should not say breakfast included or at least qualify it. Room access was delayed 2 hours until 6pm due to cleaning staff shortage.

  : Great little place nice staff clean room.
  : The breakfast that was so called included was not as expected from the pictures available on this site.Breakfast was self service which was never once mentioned in the advert had we known we would not have stayed here. All that was available was bread, jam apples and museli. We were extremely disappointed at the way this advert is very misleading!
