: First off: the staff is very friendly, which helped. The location is good for hiking and theres convenient parking. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.
: Its just not cozy. Everything felt very sterile, not what the name or the concept gives you an impression of. It feels a bit cheap in its construction, like the furniture feel a bit like IKEA and the elevator is somewhat shaky and very slow. Coming from an equal hotel both in pricing and in stars, I was disappointed by the fact that the breakfast was very limited and no other option than black coffee was offered for free. 1,5eur isnt much for a latte BUT it also feels a bit stingy considering the cost of lodging, the cost of parking and the city tax you already are paying for. The internet doesnt work. As in: at all. Considering Germany is already pretty bad when it comes to cell phone reception, thats pretty annoying when it is noted as offered! A fridge in the room wouldnt go amiss either! I wish the staff the best but Im not returning.

: Breakfast was very good with a lot of choice. The room and the bathroom were spacious, with a comfortable bed and a walk-in shower, and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for visiting the main attractions in Thale without having to use the car.
: It was difficult to find the entrance to the parking lot, parking is not free, 5/night- there was no information about that on booking.com. We had booked half board, on one evening the food was delicious, on the next evening it was rather disappointing. There was no reception and the WiFi in our room was not working.
