  : Location was fantastic, and the pub was very nice, staff were friendly and helpful.
  : We managed to get a table to eat but quite late at 8.30, we were told last orders were 8.45 which we thought would be fine as we were ready to order, unfortunately the food wasnt at its best when it arrived, Im sure the quality would be better earlier in the service.We also couldnt get the radiator in the room to turn up, it was a very uncomfortable nights sleep, we didnt alert the staff as it was late and we were only staying 1 night, Im sure it would have been looked at if we were staying longer.Also a dog woke us up quite early barking, I wasnt aware dogs were allowed to stay in the rooms so just to make others aware.

  : Very dated, not very loved, rooms were in an abandoned part of the pub. It was very strange!

  : Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, friendliness of staff, a good ambiance in an old, historic pub.

  : The room heating was warm which worked well, and its a quirky old place in a great part of Winchcombe. Staff were friendly. Room was simple and basic which was fine for an overnight stop.
  : The shower was horrendous. It was a wheezy dribble at best and swung between freezing cold and a miserable lukewarm if you got lucky for a few seconds. As a solo traveler it was concerning that I couldnt lock my room once I was inside! As my room was next to the bathroom, anyone could have taken a wrong turn and walked in. The timber floors started out quite charming, but lost their appeal later on- it amplifies the sounds of the guests so you can hear everything .loudly and I had the joy of my neighbors bumbling around until past midnight and then more noise from 6am onwards.
