  : I love Alpine Lake. My son and I have visited many times. The rooms are reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the lodge is a wonderful place to eat and the lake itself is a great place to relax and enjoy outdoor activities. I don't play golf, but the golf course appears to be a great course as well. Every time we've been there, people have been playing.
  : In the past, the restaurant was only open on certain days of the week. I believe this had something to do with the Covid Pandemic. I remember not being able to go to the lodge to eat and having no other options given there isn't much in Terra Alta, WV. I only suggest if you plan a trip to Alpine Lake, you contact them ahead of time to ensure the restaurant will be open.

  : Good for the price, lots of cool amenities and beautiful grounds.
  : The restaurant opened later and closed earlier than I would have liked. I had issues controlling the shower temperature. The beds weren’t super comfortable

  : The Staff was was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful.
  : The room was terrible; musty smelling and everything (carpet, bed covers, chairs) felt damp. Air conditioning unit only made it hot damp or cold damp…always damp and mildew smelling. The restaurant was not open either Saturday or Sunday, I notice of this on the website or in the lobby.
