  : The location is great with views over the sea and Africa. Easy to start hiking from the accomodation. House is comfortable with al modern facilities you might need, but with an authentic touch. Great bed, very nice shower, well equiped kitchen. We had the house with the roofterrace, which was perfect for example birdwatching. Vultures flew by literally within 20 meters.
  : In quite some reviews people talk about the bad road to the accommodation. And yeah, it isn't great, but by far not as bad as many roads in Spain. So definetely no reason not to go there.

  : We reeeaaallyy enjoyed our stay in this little paradise. Cottage was beutifully furnished and outside areas and pool were well kept. Best view ever! And lovely dogs were great bonus

  : super environment in a nature reserve, nice old garden very well arranged with lots of small islands, nice pool, little cottage-very cozy. very nice host, English speaking! nice dogs. kitchen equipment quite complete
  : Road is a target - go slow, garden is a little in sleeping beauty status - needs a little more attention. we didnt need AC but in summer?

  : A wonderful location that will really come into its own in the summer. Beautiful views across to the sea to the mountains of Morocco. We visited in late Feb so we also experienced some low cloud and rain. This is a great location to visit both coastal and inland Andalucia, including its famous white-washed villages. As well as the more well-trodden Med coast the Atlantic coast from Tarifa is wonderful, with huge beaches and also much quieter when we we went. Rafael is a really friendly host, great to chat to and very helpful. He also has three very friendly dogs!
  : The cortijo is reached by a 3km bumpy track. It's not made up so, again, in February it was muddy. Would recommend a 4x4 if travelling with more than 2 passengers/luggage but we negotiated it (slowly) in a Ford Focus. The benefit, of course, is you are completely off the beaten track when you get there!

  : We loved the peaceful location and the great shower.The casa had everything we needed.Lying in the sun watching eagles overhead with only the sound of birds is hard to beat.My photos are of Casa Luna. Casa Sol is similar but a little smaller however it has a fraction more privacy. Both have sea views which the larger apartment upstairs doesn't unless you go up to the roof terrace.The gardens are lovely with places to sit in both sun and shade.Both wifi and tv were excellent with Netflix and Prime. Don't forget to sign out if you use them.
  : The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been if the pool was heated but this really wasn't an issue.Make sure your roaming is switched off on your phone as it can pick up Moroccan services.

  : The view is exceptional and we really enjoyed being in the middle of nature. The owners are very nice and helpful and the dogs are friendly and funny. The place can only be reached by a dirt road so bring a good car. You can make a few beautiful walks in the nature park or visit the nearby cities of Tarifa, Algeciras and Gibraltar. The house has everything you need for a great stay.
  : Everything was fine for us, but I can imagine, if you do not read the information about the location well, you can be surprised by the dirt road or the time it will take you to reach shops or restaurants.

  : - smelly dark and wet rooms, thin walls - you hear everything- filthy old equipment in all rooms , broken ceiling fan, cigarette butts in the ashtray ,lizzard on the ceiling, a long snake in the vase in the middle of the central meadow, dogs excrements in the unmown grass, plenty of ants around the pool- the photos in Booking are not fair at all!!!- the very dusty road is really long- the owner showed no interest in explanation or apology - the only reaction was: It s nature!

  : The view is spectacular, you can see Africa from your little cottage/yard/pool if it's clear. The garden/yard is nice, well tended, with many flowers and you may be able to enjoy a quiet relaxing time (if you don't have neighbours). The house is well furnished, the bed was comfortable, there's a terrace with a gas BBQ. The property probably had its peak some years ago, now it looks a little shabby, but still decorated with nice both rural and modern taste.
  : If you have neighbours (and that's probably the case), expect it to be quite noisy. We stayed in one of the houses at ground level (there are 2 joined houses) and we could hear the neighbours talking, watching tv, washing dishes and rummaging through the cupboards - practicly you hear everything (fortunately, the bedroom is quieter, but one expects to spend the evening outside and/or in the living room before retiring to bed). The pool was not very clean and, worst of all, had pool bugs. We stayed for a few days and we didn't see anyone cleaning it. Also, the gas tank of the BBQ on the terrace was empty - we were expecting to be able to make a bbq without having to ask the hosts for a new tank..
