  : a lot of cockroaches in the downstairs bedrooms. air conditioner did nt work in upstairs middle bedroom, door handle in sitting room kept coming off , property could do with a little updating

  : The location - good 15 mins walk from the main area of oldtown and the harbour. It wouldnt be suitable for the mobility challenge as it is at the top of a very long hill.The Villa - clean and spacious, however there were a few things missing that you would expect as basic for instance towels, there were not nearly enough towels or toilet paper. There were no towels to dry the dishes either. The electricity cuts when you are using both the oven and hob which means many trips to the fuse box.The spa bath is out of order and by the looks of the sign saying so it has been for quite some time.Its a good base but just in need of some tlc as there are signs of worn which is natural wear and tear.The Pool - again ok some tlc needed as the liner is rusted or browned where the joins are.Wi-Fi - non existent. Check out - stated at 10am which is a little early and on top of that the pool cleaner arrived at 9am which was a bit intimidating as check out was not until 10am.I would stay again as it is a good villa for a family or small group its in a quiet area and overall maintained apart from the expected wear and tear.

  : Location of the Villa is great, 10 mins walk from the old town and 15 mins walk from start of the strip. The villa is great, spacious and clean, with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Pool area is lovely (caution - slippy when wet). BBQ, pool table and table tennis table lovely additions. Washing machine, full kitchen, outdoor shower also. Host communicated with us efficiently when we had queries / contacted them. Villa overall is amazing value for money also. perfect place for family or group of friends. Air con in all bed rooms and fans in living spaces. Keys collected at lock boxes, was v handy. About 15-20euro in taxi from Puerto del Carman airport.
  : Pool area very slippy when wet, host did drop us around extra towels for the ground which was helpful however we had some elderly members of our party so this was a worry. There is no basics eg bin bags / washing up liquid etc in villa which would have been a nice addition however as I said villa is still a great value for money. Having only one key for such a big villa was quite a pain however.

  : Excellent value for money. Great location, with a 15 minute walk downhill to the main resort and beach. Taxis back to the villa uphill were always under 5. Lots of pool space. Good size family villa. Very quiet location. Loved the heated pool, especially in January. Pool was cleaned during our 7 day stay and clean towels were also delivered. Would recommend and return.
  : Villa and pool are slightly more dated/used than other villas available in the area, but nothing that worried us enough to say we weren't happy. It was excellent value for the price we paid.
