  : This is an old building but very clean and well equipped for travellers. It runs more as a boarding house and the residents are friendly, interesting and well provided for. The guesthouse manager is a very friendly and helpful guy and he has a small number of staff. This is a no frills place - but for the price and the convenience of the location - and for the new friends you will make amongst the residents - Guesthouse 83 is a great option, but more suitable for the solo traveller I reckon, If you are visiting as a couple make sure you let the manager know when you book and ask for the largest room available.
  : I have no complaints - Guesthouse 83 is basic accommodation, friendly, clean and well located for the visitor to Cronulla. You get a hearty breakfast and a reasonable evening meal as part of the deal (the mince on macaroni is superb - thanks again chef).

  : The location is nice, about 10-15 minutes walking from Cronulla. The breakfast is simple, but does the job and is included in the stay. The person in room 7 who seems to take care of most day-to-day things is lovely and very helpful.
  : When we wanted to leave our luggage at the guesthouse, we chatted and later called with someone I think is the owner. They weren't particularly helpful, saying that we could leave our luggage, but only pick it up again after 4:30pm. Some negotiating later, this was turned into that they needed at least an hour notice to have someone present to let us pick up our stuff. The person in room 7 was great, though, as he basically just asked when we were planning to be back to pick it up and made this far easier. So, talk to the person in room 7, as he was far more helpful than the owner.

  : I always feel welcome here whenever I visit Cronulla. I love the bonus of having dinner provided and breakfast. This was the first time I stayed on a weekend so the first time I got a hot brekky. Loved the eggs, then loved the yummy pancakes. Thanks for having me again, Ronny.

  : Great little place to stay if you're on a budget! A nice breakfast and dinner was included, which is unheard of in Sydney unless you're in an expensive B&B. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and only a short walk to shops, bars and cafes. Loved it!
  : The TV in my room wasn't connected to the anteanna, but the one in my partners room was so I didn't suffer too much.
