  : On arrival Carnarvon Lodge was found to be unsafe due to flooding, to a depth of 150mm, of the access during heavy rain. On one occasion on entering I had a fall in the flooded section, wetting my clothes and sustaining a minor injury to my leg. The premises were undergoing renovation and the builders had neglected the site drainage. As a result, we were forced to vacate the premises and seek accommodation elsewhere. Parking was non-existent.

  : room was clean. bed comfy. Great location. Easy self check in. fantastic value. Overall I would definitely stay there again.
  : Communal kitchen was a little grubby. Only one pillow each on the bed. The pillows were very thick.The previous guest had clearly smoked in the bathroom and there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke, particularly when the fan or aircon was put on, that was unpleasant.

  : Hello, we were booked in to stay in room 110 last night, the room itself was lovely, but there was an appalling and strong smell of tobacco coming through our air vent, above the bed. Even with the windows open the smell was unbearable, and due to my partner having asthma, we made the decision to leave at 10pm last night as he could not sleep in a room filled with cigarette smoke. We tried calling multiple times with no answer. And we ended up leaving having to book another hotel.
