  : A short but lovely stay. We were in the area for a wedding and the property was a great base. Friendly owner. We liked the character of the cottage and the quirky first floor lay out. We loved the breakfast delivered to the door - absolutely delicious.

  : The cottage was clean, tidy and warm, and the breakfast was spectacular. Both Jess and Mike were friendly and Mike advised of a better place to eat than where we had booked,and his recommendation was spot-on.
  : We got lost in an industrial estate, having been led there by our satnav, using the postcode given for the property. When I called for directions, I was told that often happened. If that is the case, surely visitors should be warned in advance and given precise instructions to find the farm entrance. The accommodation was rather spartan and tired-looking. My bedside lamp did not work, not did a table lamp in the living room. The living room windows were warped and could not be pulled fully shut to lock, so could be easily opened from outside. I accept a break in is unlikely from the stable yard of a working farm, but is still not acceptable. Our daughter suffers from severe anxiety, which on this occasion had prevented her coming on the trip with us. If she had been in attendance she would not have coped with the insecurity of unlockable windows. We were told that payment would be "taken later" when we booked. Despite several opportunities for Jess and Mike to ask for payment, they did not, so I assumed it would be taken from my credit card via Booking,com. It was embarrassing to be texted by Jess, after we had left, to say we had not paid. Jess and Mike are very friendly, but they need to be more precise in their information.

  : Beautful quirky farmhouse oozing period features. Very comfortable and clean. Amazing hosts couldn't do enough for you. Fab location and the most amazing breakfasts! Definitely would recommend and is on the list for a return at a future date.
