Disappointing

  : The price. That my stay taught me an important life lesson: pay more attention to the reviews than you do to the photos
  : Im not a picky person. I stay in budget-priced accommodation for most of my holidays but this is the first time I have regretted my choice. The photos looked good but they only show the best bits. They do not show the general untidiness of the surroundings and disrepair of the buildings or the incongruous larger-than-lifesize statue of a gorilla by the main entrance! The owners try hard to make the best of what there is (for example the bed was clean and comfortable) but need to invest in the building and its infrastructure if they are to continue to attract guests. To be fair, I did not see any evidence of damp but the room was so musty that I felt nauseous and had to sleep with the window wide open. I left as soon as it was light enough to drive along the rough approach road safely.

  : Stairs very steep, needs a bit of TLC, but the hosts were very accommodating. Very friendly, alot of work to be done, but eadant & enjoyable.

  : Beautiful location and onsite animals were really friendly . Place outside is stunning and very quirkey. The dog was an absolute dream! More communicate from her than the host!
  : The donkey in their field needs to have his hooves clipped, they are very long and clearly making him uncomfortable. Inside the property in our room the shower was tiny not enough space to turn around or bend over . Also whenever using the shower or flushing the toilet a really loud flowing noise would continue for about 5 minutes. Weren't given any keys for our room to lock our door . Hardly any communication from host just to be told what room we were in. Dog left locked outside in the rain which i let in multiple times. And a guest was knocking door at half 9 to come into the guest house.. he was ignored so i had to let him in as they dont let anyone in after 9. Poor man was freezing cold and soaking shivering

  : It smelled musty the shower was dirty .. the bed was tiny for2 people, it was said it was an apartment for an extra 20, the TV didnt work, not a pleasant experience at all.

  : i liked the quirkiness of the place. The owner was helpful in telling me how to get to the best nearby eating places and stunning Carreg Cennen castle. The items provided to make one's own breakfast in the room were good. Whilst I didn't have ensuite I had my own private bathroom just two steps across the landing.

  : I was very, very disappointed by the underhandedness of the business re the lack of honesty about the cancellation and re booking documentation I provided. This was not Booking.com s fault they were fine, it was the business who tried to blame b.com I wont be using it ever again, and would suggest other travellers treat any booking with caution. A pity and sour taste.

  : The location is real Welsh hillside, with lots of sheep along the way.
  : Breakfast is D-I-Y in your room (never done that before). Eggs, bread, butter, etc. The farm is in a remote Welsh valley, and up a l-o-n-g track from the turn off the minor road.
