  : The apartment felt like our home for 5 days. It was spacious, well-lit and well-appointed. The location was excellent for us; close to the supermarket for supplies, within walking distance to port but far enough to have peace and quiet, and the view...wow! We appreciated the host stocking the fridge with some water (and other drinks) so that when we first arrived we had something to drink.
  : Things have changed a little since we last visited Croatia and arriving at your accommodation is far less personal than it once was. I always prefer to meet my host face-to-face at the start. We happened to cross paths with Lana (the host) on the second day but this was by chance, not because she made herself known to us. After meeting face-to-face she followed up with some messages to see if all was ok and if we needed anything, which we appreciated. Another small defect is that there were hairs on the floor left from the previous guest/s.
