  : Location was good. Parking was free.
  : Went to Sturgeon Bay for the 2023 DCC cycling event. Booked a one-night room for $251. Dont be fooled by the photos they post on their website our room was filthy, musty, disgusting, and rundown (see the pictures I took looks even worse in person!). The aesthetics of the room resembled what I would expect to see at a Motel 6 for a fraction of the price. Carpet was sticky and nasty, paint was chipped, air conditioning unit was old and dirty, room was so humid that the pillows we slept on felt damp, and the bathroom was beyond gross the tub had terrible stains from God knows what, the tiles had either black mold or some weird black substance in between them, and layers of grime and filth lined other areas of tile. In addition to all of this, for $251, the view from our room was that of a sidewalk that guests used to enter the building. After traveling several hours to get to Sturgeon Bay on check-in day and being out all day preparing for the event, running errands, and getting dinner, we settled into the room after 8:00pm. We then noticed all of the above conditions but had to immediately get ready for bed (had to be up by 5:30am and out by 7:00am). Breakfast was not available until 7:00am, so we couldnt even eat before leaving. At check-out, we reported the issues/dissatisfaction and requested a rate reduction that the owner and/or manager denied because we didnt report the issues the night before (really?). Instead of taking responsibility for the poor conditions and offering compensation, the owner and/or manager tried to place the accountability for the situation on us, which was ridiculous. But the bottom-line question iswhy would the owner and/or manager knowingly and intentionally place guests in rooms like this and charge a premium rate? Its bad enough that the room condition was deplorable, but even worse that they dont care.

  : Loved the tiki bar and music out front. Was a beautiful evening so we enjoyed sitting outside.

  : resort is in a very bad need of major TLC. Has not been touched in years. Our guest room on the second floor was quiet (probably cause no one was around) The room had that "dirty" feeling in general. Felt like nothing had been wiped down in a long time, In the bathroom, you are provided with a PLASTIC CRINKLY SHOWER CURTAIN that sucked. You can't tell us they cannot at least afford to replace plastic shower curtains with the prices charged. The carpeting felt filthy, so I put socks on, they turned brown. The ONE positive thing in our room was that the bed was comfortable, have to say one nice thing, right? We have vacationed regularly to Door Cty for a long time, FIRST time at Leatham and definitly LAST time at Leatham. Hope this helps some others decide where NOT to stay.

  : Breakfast omelette was amazing , good variety . Room was beautiful got really warm and bed was to hard for me , couch was kind of uncomfortable but location was great !
