  : Mouldy bathroom shower. Dusty rooms. Shower head went in all directions needs replacing. No loo brush. No Mirror main bedroom. Breakfast was very poor couldn't eat it really poor quality.

  : Price paid £113.00, which I feel is a little high considering the overall condition of the hotel,it’s a little tired and in need of some investment,especially the rooms. ( no CCVT for the car park.If a higher than average is being asked, I understand, but how about some bottled water in the room etc as a compromise to offset. I’m sure this would be appreciated by many guests.

Pleasant

  : Check in very quick, pleasant staff, nice bar & lounge areas with real ale available. Breakfast excellent, pot of tea was on my table almost before I'd sat down. Room very spacious, slept well. Very convenient for Alcester - a quick drive or only 30 minutes' walk away. The room was extremely convenient for the main entrance and car park.
  : I had a chalet room, but there were lots of dead flies on the windowsill and in the bath. I can only surmise that the room hadn't been used for a bit, and needed a good cleanup before I came, but no-one had checked it had been done satisfactorily (I booked at short notice and the hotel was pretty full). The bedside lamps had been unplugged, so I assume the furniture had been moved to hoover up the flies on the carpet after spraying the room. The hotel really need to stop the flies coming in rather than cleaning up afterwards. Everything else was clean. The towel rail radiator had a rather permanent looking notice to say it was out of order, so if not fixed before winter this bathroom could become a bit chilly. There was a wedding the day I stayed, and the disco in the room above the lounge was rather noisy, but didn't affect my stay.
