  : The location was convenient for the hospital we were visiting and it was fairly easy to find. I was greeted by a friendly gentleman who gave me my room key, info about breakfast and directions to the room, which was quite spacious and clean. The location was quiet at night - could not hear any traffic noise and outside my window was just fields, which I liked. The bed was quite comfy and there was a blackout blind behind thick curtains, so I slept well. Both radiators worked. Full English breakfast and evening meal of chicken and mushroom stroganoff with rice were quite tasty, and service was good.
  : The TV was a bit temperamental, the pedal on the bin in the bathroom didn't work, the shower pressure was weak when running it warm (the warmer, the lower the pressure). All the internal doors are spring-loaded fire doors which was a bit annoying moving between the bathroom and bedroom but I do feel mean complaining about a safety feature. There was no option for subtle lighting in the room, just very bright wall lamps. There was an occasional unpleasant odor, presumably from what appeared to be a septic tank outside my window. The bacon was tasty, but a bit burnt in places and the blackout blind didn't seem to want to stay down. These are all minor gripes and I would stay again if I needed to stay in the area.

  : The room really couldn't be faulted - very clean and comfortable. Lovely large walk in shower but the water seemed to take a rather long time to warm up.Outside seemed peaceful and quiet with nice surroundings.The bar area was compact and small with a good atmosphere and everywhere you looked was a stag!
  : The food and it's service...We booked a table to dine in the evening but later decided to get room service instead. After already decided what we'd like to eat we realised that the "room" menu had less choice. Picked something else, ordered and it turned up 1 hour later than planned with chips instead of rice and not much value for the price.Breakfast wasn't much better - one of us was given someone else's full English and the other received two over cooked boiled eggs totally not dippable for the toast soldiers!
