  : Nice traditional but comfortable room in an old mountain village. Good breakfast, as early as you like.

  : The renovation of this old large building is beautiful, maybe not too practical for a hotel, but beautiful. The village of Splugen is quaint and lovely, the ski area is really nice with plenty of runs, my first time back in over 40 years, great job on the new runs! The hotel staff is awesome, especially Judith, the all around hotel host! Great restaurant, incredibly picturesque.
  : Wi-Fi needs to be available everywhere and more streamline. No TV in the room. Bathroom in our room is extremely difficult to navigate especially for older guests (not our case), although picturesque, the stairs are very challenging, they should state this at the moment of taking the reservation. All the informations, restaurant menu and other pieces of printed literature are ONLY in german.

  : Interesting place in a historic building overlooking beautiful village of Splgen but design only doesnt make a quality hotel. Confortable bed, basic Swiss Breakfast, nice views.
  : It is a pity that such place is left in the hands of a management who has no eyes for the detail. Small things usually add up: at your arrival, you have a feeling to disturb the receptionist and all the others gathered for something probably more important. Missing towels, soaps, weird wifi. The next morning the complete hotel is left to two ladies serving breakfast in a crammed room although there is a terrace outside We find our way outside, so far so good. At the checkout, they try to charge something different than the price in the booking, and the ladies are lost with no common language with us no one speaks German,English or French and no manager at sight. Eventually an elderly gentleman who speaks some German appears and we solve the problem with a remote call to the management who mumbles something It needs more to deserve Swiss Historic Hotel mention Value is not created by lowering cost especially in the hospitality.
