: The breakfast was fine, decent selection of foods. The location is good- close to town and can walk to a few places.
: We were never greeted properly for starters. No hello, no welcome words- nothing. After ringing the bell- a lady stuck her head out the door and asked who are you? The bed in the room was quite uncomfortable [had a divet in the middle indicating the mattress is worn out]. Plus, if one is taller than say 1.85 m the bed is too short. It was rather cold outside when we were there [5 C at night] and they were unwilling to turn the heat on, therefore the room was quite cold. We told them of these issues but they thought our concerns were invalid. After a good deal of arguing our problems [see above] they moved us to a slightly better room. But this room was also unheated. Lastly, the guy that either owns or runs the place is a smoker. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and I'm sure he doesn't smoke in the rooms but when he's in the hallway or a room or near you one smells a strong smoke odor.

: Rustic but comfortable and large room with balcony. Fair price. Good, quiet location within Spiegelau.
: Limited breakfast. Would've greatly benefitted from a few more options, like honey or fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, yoghurt etc.; also, regular start is only at 08:30. You can start earlier, but then it's even more limited (so not recommended for early birds). The host, while friendly, comes off as somewhat overextended.
