  : We walked in room and walked straight back out.Ths room was dark, dingy and very unclean.Toilet was disgusting, the fridge was disgusting had food remnants and mould growing inside.The bedding smelled dirty.The room was absolutely atrocious.My husband took key back down the road to man who gave it us.He told the the man what we thought of the room.The man was very unkempt himself, he just grunted muttered under his breath and walked away.I am still waiting for my room money to be paid back to me.Booking.com said speak to hotel.Sorry but I booked with Booking.com not the hotel.So could someone please give me my money back.I've never had this problem before.I have booked many times with Booking.com xI went on to book Scarisbrick Hotel with Booking.com for my planned weekend away.So I have paid twice for same weekend awayCome on Booking.com be fair.I'm a 68 year old disabled lady.I found all this very stressful.All I want is an apology and my money back xx

  : The room we booked is nothin like pictured or stated on bookings it was filthy rooms left unlocked local drug people in an out building I felt on edge no staff around shower leaks all iver room stains on beds hairs carpets filthy I’d like a refund it was horrendous

  : Unfriendly environment, sent down the street to another hotel despite booking in the other one. Kept up all night by loud abusive guests, police banging down doors at 7 am, scared for my life with my kids, terrible place

  : Free parking on the drive. (Only big enough for 2 cars though).
  : I didn't even sleep in the hotel. Turned up, no one there. Black bags and white bags filled with what I assume to be dirty linen lined up. No reception, no signs. Saw a sign on the front with a phone number. I called that, a guy answered, about 2 sentences was all he said, told me to wait and he will come down. 10 mins later, he turns up, hands me the key, and asks what time I will check out. Not one bit of information about the hotel given, literally zero. I asked if my car was okay on the drive, and he said yes. Felt like a maze trying to find my room. Came across a random microwave plugged in in a corridor. Eventually, I found my room, walked in, and could smell fresh paint, yet the room was absolutely disgusting. Not even the desk was wiped as there was an old spilt hot drink on there. The top of the kettle was filthy. The carpet was absolutely disgusting, I felt like I had to wash my shoes on the way out of the hotel. The bathroom was filthy, too. The shower had not been wiped at the bottom, the sink just the same. I didn't look inside the toilet as I didn't even want to touch it. What made the experience worse was bringing down the blind and seeing what appeared to be dried blood on them. I made a swift exit. I drove to the McDonald's close by to 1. Wash my hands and 2. Think of what to do next. I soon drove back to the hotel but only to drop the keys in the key safe. I didn't want to spend a single minute more in there.I should have read the reviews, but it was a last minute booking in one of the only remaining hotels that accepted dogs. It felt more like a hostel for residents rather than a hotel for guests. I wouldn't even recommend staying here if they offered it you free of charge.

  : Next door occupier from room 4 kept smoking weed every evening, rooms are nothing what are advertised on booking.com. we chose deluxe room with microwave and kitchen sink and bigger toilet and we received small shower room with mini sink. We came for work to Southport and we needed kitchen space to prepare our daily meals. They allowing pets inside and my bed was stinked with dogs hair. Pillows are dirty and smelly, only cover are fresh. Shower is full of mould (please see attached photo), shelf in bath is full of rust. This was reported to reception but was ignored. Reception woman wasn't helpful and she didn't know nothing about our booking and asked us to call number which is operated by lady in India
