: Checkin was good. Staff was friendly and professional. Breakfast was wonderful. Different selections both days we were there and coffee was wonderful. Love that they had the bottled pump creamers and not the tiny little half n half cups. Otis Spunkmeyer muffins are always a treat to see. Room was very quiet and having a mini fridge is essential for us staying more than 1 night. We had a very comfortable chair in the room (different than the desk and chair set) and it was perfect to sit and read or just relax. King bed was decently comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean. Loved the modern bathroom and glass shower doors. Lighting was great in the bathroom too. Overall the stay was pleasant, building and location were great. We've stayed in 3 hotels in Southport and this one was by far our favorite for location comfort and privacy. Will stay here again.
: $40 hold on my card for potential snacks was annoying. Had to request soap for washing hands at the sink and was given the same body wash that's in the shower so that was odd but it worked. Needed to request more toilet paper and towels once we got in the room because there was enough for 1 day for 1 person. Glad I brought my own pillow. Theirs do not support your head at all. The shower door handle is seriously about to fall off. Needs tightened. And as much as I loved the roomy shower, the design is odd. Have to step in to turn the water on and no time to get out of the way because the shower hits right there where you're standing. Other than that, it's a great shower.
