  : . If you are for Ritz Crlton (disclaimer, I hav'nt been in one ever), this is not the place for You. However, if you look for a cosy, simple, clean place, just at the center of town, The Vintage Guest House will be a pleasent surprise. Although located right at the busy center of Sofia, the place is astonishingly quiete. Nice small kitchen, with espresso machine, a kettele and a microwave oven. Cute little dining area. Just be aware that the toilettes and the showers are shared. They are completely new and very clean. The room is small, but not too small. The receprion staff were very communicative. Both my wife and me loved the place.
  : Soap and shampoo dispensers in the shopwer were awkward A little funny to use shared bathroom,- showers and toilettes.

  : The room decor is nicely decorated and historical center is closed by. However I asked well in advanced for a room upper level I didnt get it. Every night I had a guest above me stomped on my head.
  : I find the owner or manager in charge is lack of customer service and compassionate and aggressive individual. When I was in Canada I tried to reach out to her she refused to provide WhatsApp number when I asked a few days before I came to Sofia. After series of begging and explained I had to do to get her WhatsApp number because my flight arrived in the evening and the hotel is closed at 9PM I was afraid that my flight would delayed and I would arrive past the closing time and no one would be there to check me in. It was a simple request and I had to write many emails for this (like several hours later) she kept saying to me that the office is close at 9PM when will I arrive. I explained to her while waiting for my fight from Frankfurt to Sofia. It was delayed and I called her from Frankfurt airport to inform her that the flight was delayed. The manager kept saying what time you will be here. I told her I had no control of the flight delayed. When arrived I asked for the manager name, she said no need to know her name. In addition, I asked for room on the upper floor well in advance I didnt get it. Every night I heard the above guest stomped on my head. I told the manager that I wanted to check out earlier as I could not sleep she refused to hear it and would not switch my room nor refund me if I left.

  : The location is perfect. It was a quiet location but very close to the main shopping street and a couple different metros so it was easy to get around. The staff was also very accommodating and a pleasure to interact with.
  : There weren't many things we didn't like. We would only suggest one thing: The self check-in was really easy and convenient, but a suggestion would be to put an awning over the screen/standing area to block the rain. When we arrived, it was raining so hard and to type in all of our details while standing in the rain was not pleasant.

  : We liked the location which was pretty central. Appreciated the fact that there was a fully equiped kitchen with some basic snacks provided.
  : What we didn't like was the lack of a curtain in the shower.
