  : We had booked a suite I.e bedroom + lounge area with kitchenette. Very disappointed with this, whilst the bedroom was fine, large and good views , the second room was shabby and did not in anyway match the photos on the hotel website or booking.com. Small holes and marks in all the curtains. On the last evening the handle on the balcony door broke.Fridge had to be replaced,2 ring hob but no pans, no microwave initially, no minibar, coffee machine electrical test label 2018. Lack of storage space, wardrobe in lounge area not bedroom, lack of drawers- fine if staying for a few days but not for a longer stay. TV in bedroom and not in lounge area even though there was a TV point. TV channels poor, unable to access Netflix etc even though it was supposedly available. Offered another room but it was as far away from the lifts as it could possibly be therefore not taken. Housekeeping excellent. Staff in the bar need to be more welcoming and attentive to hotel guests, did not appear to enjoy their job. Reception staff okay but again need to be more aware of and interested in the needs of their guests, more information about the hotel required at check in rather than just the time of breakfast, and need to know what is on their website! During our last week renovation work started on the 2nd floor at 7.30 am each morning. Good entertainment 3nights / week

  : All went well except for that we requested a room with a Seaview but did not receive, we had a balcony but it overlooked a sea of buildings, other than that , all was excellent and the staff very obliging and friendly
