  : Unfortunately I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, the stay was unpleasant and is poorly run. To start with, when we turned up there was no one there to greet us and we was buzzing the front bell for a good 10 minutes before anyone turned up. no employees stay at the hotel so if you need anything, you would have to ring the owner. There was a hairdryer and iron in the room however it didnt work and when we rung the owner to ask him if he could sort it, he said hed come over but he never did which is disappointing. I dont believe the rooms were cleaned each day, they just come in and make the beds. The beds are very uncomfortable and gave everyone a back ache. The breakfast is very minimal and they tried to give us lumpy milk but made out it was totally fine. The last thing which I think is awful is the rooms are damp which resulted in me getting poorly. Overall, our hotel experience was very poor.

  : The staff member (daughter of the owner, I think ) who checked us in was very nice, helpful and explained everything well. The position was also very good. Close to the waterfront with convenient bus stops and ferry, but far enough away from the noise of the many bars and restaurants.
  : We had booked a Deluxe triple room but found it was nothing like the photo (there certainly was no room for a third bed as shown). There was a damp, mouldy smell in the room which we also noticed on entering the hotel via the breakfast area (no reception area) Furthermore the wall behind the bed was very damp and mouldy with wallpaper peeling off. The grouting in the lower shower tiles and behind the hand basin was also black with mould. The hand basin was far too small, hardly big enough to wash hands and brush teeth without water splashing everywhere. No soap in dispenser (this was rectified the following morning after informing the staff) Water pressure was not good and especially the toilet needed flushing several times to clear. Overall maintenance was poor. Broken lightswitch surround at entrance to room, broken webbing on luggage holder and the sheets and pillowcases were of poor quality with holes in both. The mattress was either very old and/or of poor quality with the springs coming through.
