  : Not far from the beach. The Staff is super kind
  : The place is hugely outdated. Furniture is a mix from the 70s, incredibly cheap, barely functional, honestly depressing, not what you want to see during a vacation. There is no Wi-Fi, the owner only accept cash on hand, no cards. Hard to access with a car, the whole place is so poorly structured that youll want to leave immediately. We managed to find a 4* hotel room for a tiny difference: pointless, unless youre desperate

  : I paid 350 euros for 4 nights. There were no kettle, the cooker didnt work so were unable to make a tea or coffee in the mornings. There were no WIFI although on booking.com it says that they have Wifi? The cleaner didnt once give us fresh towels or any fresh sheets. The toilet bin never got changed neither. The tv also did not work.

  : Overall a very nice stay with a very good location. The best is the beautiful (wild) garden, and only 5 minutes walking distance to supermarket, bars, restaurants & bus stop and 10 minutes (easy walk) to the beach (long sand beach). The new owner makes a lot of efforts (he works closeby at a beach bar at Kolis beach) and responds quickly when you call. There is no classical reception but Ana is around and takes care of and cleans the apartments. If you need anything, she is very helpful (speaks Italian, little English). The reception could be better organised but it still works. The apartment is very spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped (pans, pots, fridge, cleaning liquid). You may bring kitchen towel/paper. Bathroom is small but all you need. As everywhere in Skiathos, you do not throw toilet paper in the toilet. Then all works well. I had no problems. Soap & toilet paper, towels available. No hair dryer - I do not need it but bring one if you do. The beds are a bit hard to sleep on - but ok. A/C works very well. I stayed for one week and apartment was cleaned once during my stay which was sufficient. You have a nice terrace with small table and chairs where you can eat with the view to the garden. Each apartment also has a hanger for wet clothes outside. The owner prefers you pay in cash, also arranges for taxi to airport.
  : Location: is difficult to find. Go to Tropicana resort entrance, from there it takes you 3 minutes by foot; follow the street to the left. You see a grey gate where you turn left (bumpy, small road) and after 50 meters right. This street leads to the Studios. Note: google maps shows you the wrong location!

  : Since we booked late, there ware not many places available. Paraschos studios was one of the cheapest options. Overall, the experience was fair, with many things that could / should be changed. On the positive side, you might want to choose the property because of... 1) Location - The location is very good, the next beach is only 5 minutes away. If you don't have a car, this might be great for you. 2) Price - Skiathos is an expensive island, so this is one of the more cheaper options. However, the cheap price does not make up the downsides of the apartment. If I were travelling to Skiathos again, I'd definitely go for a more expensive / better option. 3) Nice people - The guy I got the keys from and the owner who is working in a nearby bar were very nice and kind, especially after we issued a complaint about defective facilities. The seemed to be caring a lot. 4) Architecture. The place is somewhat quaint and nice to look at. There are some studios upstairs, some on the ground floor, and an extra house I lived in. You also find a garden with some beautiful trees and plants, yet in a very neglected surrounding (see below) With a little bit of investment and care this place could be much, much nicer.
  : There are plenty of things that need to / should be improved in the place. For the money the owners earn every summer, they could make the place much nicer. I am a person who frequently travels and I don't need any luxury whatsoever. Yet, there were many issues with the place:1) Facilities - Everything is very outdated. Our toilet blocked several times causing flooding in the bathroom. The bathroom is really awful - shower centimetres away from the toilet, you can't use the bathroom or the apartment without your shoes on, otherwise it would be very unhygienic.2) Modern kitchen appliances - We had a stove that looked like it came straight out of WW2, rusty, sticky and strange to handle. We did not find any cleaning equipment and had to lend it from another apartment. At least I expect to find some basic cleaning and kitchen equipment in a holiday apartment.3) Furnishing - Our apartment had absolutely NO places to store holiday stuff apart from a very small cupboard.4) Better maintainence of outdoor areas - Everything in the places looks very neglected, old and in bad shape. There is also some rusty and old cleaning and garden equipment lying around.5) Access to the property. The property is really awful getting to. It's hidden behind some other hotels with only a very narrow path leading to the place. If ou have a car >4 metres long you are very likely to scratch it. There are also no signs or anything indicating where you find the apartment.6) Payment options. The property does not accept payment via Booking.com or cards. You have to bring cash and pay on site. Mind that you don't get an invoice or any confirmation. As Austrian, I personally don't care if the Greek state gets taxes from the property owners, but it's really something that is awful and needs to be changed.

  : The location was ideal, very quiet, close to beach, tavernas & small supermarket. Lovely surroundings: green garden and colourful flowers. Met by friendly hostess who gave advice about Troulos. There were hotel Pool bars nearby that we used for swimming & drinks after visiting the beach. Comfortable beds and hot showers. Kitchen within the studio for our self-catered breakfast. Air conditioner worked well to cool our room in the hot weather. Gold star to Helen, as our hostess and for making us so welcome.
  : There was no wi-if when we stayed. Kitchen was functional but basic.

  : The property was awkward to locate and down a very narrow track so no good if you have medium/large car.
