  : Good location, just a few steps to bar and sea, garden view.
  : Hard mattresses, no sea view, a lot of mosquitos. Bar music can be listened until midnight.

  : Location was good.
  : Communication with the owner was poor. Booked and paid for three nights only to be advised that a mistake had been made and our first nights accommodation could not be honoured. After much persuasion and pleading, Eleni the owner, found another accommodation for us on the first night at a neighbouring hotel. We were satisfied and asked her to confirm this in an email. A week before leaving Australia, we followed up with another request to receive written confirmation from Eleni, which never arrived. Therefore, we were not willing to turn up and find out we had nowhere to stay. Accordingly, we phoned and advised Eleni that we would not be arriving that first night as we had not received any written confirmation. Eleni claims to have phoned and left a confirmation on our Australian number, to which we did not have access since we left Australia. On arriving at Maniatis Garden on day two, we were advised by Eleni that there would not be any refund on the accommodation money we had paid for the first nights accommodation and that both parties had lost out. Needless to say we were not impressed.

  : The apartments are right next to the beach, with a lovely restaurant and bar included, too! In addition, a water taxi also stops at the jetty by the beach, making transport to the old port easy. The staff was friendly and helpful, assisting with luggage storage and early check-in.
  : There wasn't a very formal "check-in process", so we were left with a lot of questions: are the beach chairs reserved for guests (no), what is the wi-fi password, are there laundry facilities, etc. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, we would have liked a bit more clear instructions/communications/information. The beach gets busy very early in the morning, which meant that we sometimes struggled with parking!

  : The location is amazing, less than 30 seconds to the beach so great for popping back for lunch or a drink. There are also 2-3 beach bars within walking distance and it is right next to the jetty where the water taxi goes into town every 30 minutes. The apartment is basic as is often the case with Greece, small with a little kitchen but was big enough for two of us and was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and is set in beautiful gardens with a lovely terrace area. Very comfortable beds too! Hairdryer and equipped kitchen is provided. Achladies itself is only small but has a few good restaurants and an amazing bakery within walking distance but is great for also popping into skiathos town in an evening either by bus or water taxi where there is lots of choice. We got the bus to other beaches (located at bus stop 10) but this was our favourite!
