: The location, once we found it, was nicely located down a narrow side street off the main shopping street. Near a good restaurant, hidden mini mart and away from noise and traffic of all hours. The 2 en suite double bedrooms where comfortable and stylish too. The amenities in the small kitchen opening out to the large roof terrace was excellent. A packet of ground coffee provided on arrival, which was considerate.
: Although checking information was e mailed prior to checking in, the lady left responsible for the apartment doesn't speak English, so check in was a challenge. Parking is a premium in the city and a challenge to find. Research before going. Marco ( the host ) will e mail info to park but it is NOT straight forward. On arrival to the apartment building, the stairs to the 2nd floor apartment are narrow and steep. If you have large luggage you need to be a mountain goat. Your your asked to pay €15 a head in cash - non refundable ( which eventually found out is city tax ). We where told to communicate though WhatsApp but couldn’t get answers. When I finally called the Polish host / owners, he was in Vietnam. The TV instructions were only in Italian, plus we couldn’t get to work. The Kitchen and roof terrace are accessible via steep stairs with out banisters - which is a challenge for folks like me with a balance issue.

: Position Position Position! Sryacuse is a fantastic place to visit and this apartment is in the old part in Ortigia island, which is full of cobble stoned streets and alleyways and beautiful med colors.This apartment has 2 beautiful bedrooms with very comfortable King beds and private bathrooms.The Linen needs updating tho as there was only a fitted sheet and a quilt cover with no quilt in it in the 2nd bedroom. I think it must have been vacant for a while as we struggled with the bathroom drain smell at first but it did improve a little as we used it.Roof top balcony is superb with BBQ lounge , deck chairs and table and chairs, great if the weather is good but if not there is nowhere other than the kitchen table to catch up with friends as there is no lounge room.Kitchen was well equipped for simple cooking and also has lovely wine glasses ( very important with such lovely local wines to drink ). a little difficult to find at first but so well located near many fabulous restaurants.
