Hotel Sinaia

Good

: I liked the location (center of Sinaia near the train station), the size of the room, the bed was comfortable and the reception staff was friendly and professional. We even got a free update for a balcony room. Nice view.
: The look of the hotel is awful, it is not a 4 star hotel. The "renovation" of the room was just a layer of paint that was laid without even taking out the furniture, you could see paint on the TV. The TV was not in a normal position, it was laying on a side, the furniture was pretty old. The breakfast area was chaos. The water offered was full of little tiny pieces that were breaking from the recipient in which the water was served. At first I thought the glasses were not clean, but I took another one and made sure it was very clean, once I poured water in it I could see little pieces from the recipient. Overall it was ok for the money we paid, but we are not coming back for sure. The carpet on the floor was decolored, the wals have cheap decorations. You could see that once it was a nice place but they butchered it with cheap renovations.

: Overall a great hotel in a convenient location. Enjoyed the meal at the restaurant too.
: Soundproofing between rooms could be better. We could hear the neighbours talking late into the night.

: The hotel is beautiful, the bed is very comfortable and the room in general was not missing anything you would need in a trip. The spa was a nice experience, you have 1hr30 everyday there. Everything was in walking distance, Peles and Pelisor castle are a must to see, public transportation is very accessible. If you are coming to ski, be careful to check if there is snow and if the ski station is open.
: The food at the hotel restaurants was very pricey and mediocre.
