  : If you like cockroaches and nats all over your room this is the place for you. There were numerous cockroaches during our stay and when we expressed concern to management they claimed we placed fake bugs inteh room!!!!!!! Do NOT stay here run!!
  : Cockroaches and nats biting up myself and my friends on our trip! We saw numerous cockroaches during our stay, we expressed this to managment and they stated that buttonwood cottage does have an issue with cockroaches and they still allow people to stay in that cottage. Disgusting! Mangment handled the situation poorly. We expressed this issue and the property manger, misty, she stated she would contact the owner and see about moving us to a new cottage or obtaining a refund. She failed to call us and update us so we had to take it upon ourselves after seeing the 8th roach to leave late in the evening to go to a hotel. Our entire stay was atrocious, we requested a full refund but were only offered a refund for the final night and they had the audacity to charge me a cleaning fee (this was later rembursed) and claim we trashed the cottage, we left late in the evening and did happen to leave a few things lying around but by no means did we "trash" this establishment. Management also expressed that they didnt see any roaches, I have several pictures of dead roaches that we killed. We made sure to not dispose of the 8th roach that we saw under the sofa, there is no way they didnt see it as it was the size of a small animal.

  : We enjoyed the nice large pool and the fully equipped kitchen. Having three bedrooms was also nice. Not many rentals are pet friendly so we greatly appreciated this property allowing our fur children. The staff is accommodating and friendly.
  : The listing states it is close to a private beach however, because its so close to the resorts theres only about 30 feet of beach thats accessible for this property. The beach fills up very fast Since this is the only small amount of beach accessible for the whole road of properties. unfortunately each day we had to drive down to the public beach due to lack of space on this private beach. I felt the listing should have expressed that more clear. Our unit also had a mildew problem. Im aware this is a common problem in most of Florida while using the AC. More dehumidifiers would help to make it more comfortable especially for people with allergies. Our unit had one large dehumidifier however it was very loud and only seemed to help the humidity in the living room and not the bedrooms. Some minor adjustments would make this property great!
