  : I booked to stay at this hotel, informed them I would be arriving at 11pm, and then upon arrival the hotel was shut. I received no contact from the hotel and then was not able to get hold of anybody who worked there. Indeed, the next day I was also not contacted with any apology regarding the fact that they had failed to honour my stay.I ended up having to walk to other hotels nearby and was informed on a number of occasions that this is not the first time such a situation has occurred at The Albert Hotel.

  : Location was great. Walking distance to everything. Angela is an asset to this business! She made me feel very welcome, very attentive & nothing was too much for her.
  : The mattress in room ‘Katherine’ could be turned as it has a bad dip on the side where you get in & out of the bed, nearest to the bathroom.

  : The hotel is close to the station which suited us and easy walking to tourist sites. The accomodation is separate from the pub and upstairs. We stayed in Victoria room which had a separate sitting area. The bed was comfortable. It was also quiet at night. A cooked breakfast was on offer , no complaints.

  : Ideal location for town centre. Apprix.3 minute walk from train station and approx 3 min walk from hotel to town centre.Hotel separate from bar and where breakfast is served. Great choice of breakfast and staff were very welcoming and friendly.Stayed here a few times and is my go to if I need to stay on Shrewsbury Rooms are lovely with fridge if required and coffee/ tea facilities. Very comfy bed.
  : If have room on front a bit noisy from road traffic when windows open and maybe could do with a privacy blind but considering how central hotel is to be expected.Ironing board this time was not ideal as table top made it a bit tricky ironing dress but at least iron on room and not having to request itThe bathroom looked a little tired and could do with a revamp.Regardless of these things would stay again as room makes up for it.
