  : Despite telling the owner I was driving, and despite having booked his "nearby" garage for 30, he failed to give me directions to the garage, but instead expected to meet outside the apartment, delaying this until 1700. 24 hour front desk? Really? Garage nowhere near and required a whole complicated drive after being confronted with the reality that there was nowhere to stop anywhere near the apartment. Water heating and electrical systems unstable. Shower veered from scalding to cold indicating a temperature regulation issue with the tiny boiler. Electrical supply tripped if using a hair drier at the same time as the air-con. Description a fantasy. No 24-hour front desk. No front desk. No...desk. Water park? Golf? Bar? No, no, no. All figments of El Senor's imagination. Kitchen light went out on 2nd afternoon of a 3-night stay. No action from owner so we were left to errr... yup... cook in the dark. Watch out for that broken and detached-from-the-wall power outlet in the shower room, too. Try not to stand on that wet floor while using the hair drier... Oh dear... You're dead! Kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery a travesty. Incessantly barking small dog in a higher apartment something of an irritant. Recommendations from the owner regarding various retail outlets proved to be unreliable as their product proved to be of poor quality - yes-that's both the bodega and the bakery.
