  : We liked that there was a pool.
  : Our recent stay was unfortunately marred by a series of issues with our room. The room we received was not what we had booked, lacking the crib and pull-out sofa we specifically requested and paid extra for. Furthermore, the cleanliness was completely unacceptable. We found a ripped blanket, stained furniture, and missing dresser drawers. This created a feeling of insecurity, especially with young children, as the room also lacked top locks on the door leading to the hallway! The door leading outside did not work as well. To add insult to injury, the hotel charged an additional $100 deposit upon arrival, they did say it wouldn’t be charged unless there was issues with the room but this was an additional fee on top of the $60 deposit already paid in advance. While the staff we interacted with were friendly, the comment made upon arrival was unsettling before we even opened the door. She said “your supposed to have a pull out couch but wouldn’t be so sure it’s there”. So they knew we paid for it and did not accommodate that after we paid for it. Given the significant discrepancies between what we booked and what we received, along with the unsanitary state of the room, we believe the value for the price paid was simply not there. We urge the hotel to address these shortcomings to ensure future guests have a more positive experience.

  : Breakfast was excellent. Exterior and common areas were clean and attractive. Room was spacious and looked freshly painted; carpet looked clean and fairly new. The microwave and small refrigerator were a welcomed convenience. Elevator to second floor was a big plus.
  : There was no place for our hanging clothes and only one light in the main part of the room (no desk light, no nightstand lights). When we reported this to the front desk, we were handed a small desk lamp and given no solution for hanging clothes. We were told there were no rooms with clothes bars because the "hotel was being renovated." Further, there was no toilet paper holder, no towel bars, no hooks for a robe (only a broken bracket), no hotel emergency exit map posted in room (probably fire code violation) and no chair other than a desk chair. The wood furnishings were heavily damaged and missing parts. The toilet seat was loose, rough and flaking paint. The smoke detector was not mounted but simply hanging from a hole in the wall by its own wires.

  : The location was really central to some good restaurants & Starbucks. I could walk less than a block to all of them. Room was clean and bed comfortable.
  : Breakfast: eggs are powder eggs and not the best tasting or texture.
