Rheinhotel Lamm

Disappointing

: Breakfast and site are ok.
: The workers are very impolite especially the woman in the morning restaurant.

Wonderful

: The friendly helpful staff. The food and service was excellent. The owner went out of his way to help us navigate the town and the attractions. So beautiful to sit and watch the Rhine float by

: Location would be difficult to beat. Quiet village but train, walk, cable car or ferry to busier places.5 or 10 minutes away on the train.. New riverside pathway for pedestrians or cyclists means you can walk along the Rhine either way from the hotel. If you want to explore further then the train to Koblenz or other towns is a simple option. The hotel itself is small and tidy. Not the most modern and contemporary but I find it very comfortable with an above average offering at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
: During our stay the bar and restaurant were closed on the Tuesday and Thursday from breakfast to 4pm. Not sure if this is a permanent thing but seems that way.Not a deal-breaker as you can plan around it but sitting outside with a beer after our morning walk is a pleasant pastime. Just have to stay out longer.
