  : The location was very central and close by shops and amenities. The breakfast was fresh, warm bread and croissants along with fresh fruit coffee tea and juice.
  : The check out time compared to other hotels we have stayed in was very early. Normally its around 11:00 in other hotels so we found that 10:00 was a bit too early.

  : The location of the hotel is top, direct in the centre of Schagen, near the main square. Because the hotel is in the location of a former castle, there is space around it and so is a quite place without Traffic!

  : The breakfast was the ice on the Cake. Nicely served!
  : A very helpful lady helped us when we arrived as we had not notice in the booking that there's no reception and we came few minutes before two o'clock. This was our mistake not wearing our best reading glasses!

  : I liked the location of this hotel . It is right in the centre of Schagen . Our rooms were generous and very clean. We had a lovely little window seat, which was lovely to watch the ducks from
  : The fridges in both rooms were so noisy it was hard to sleep , so much so that I had to leave the fridge door open on the last night at 3am as it bothered me so much. It only makes noise when shut.The pillows were all different sizes and lumpy and uncomfortable. We only saw one staff member during our entire stay . There is no one there . Ever! No one at all . When we arrived I couldn't get in as the key swipe action wouldn't work on my phone. I kept ringing the hotel phone number . No answer , and no one rang back . Luckily when I sent the email to my daughter it worked. But only her phone could let us in to both rooms and from outside.throughout our stay .We couldn't figure out the Aircon. Again No One There . The only staff member we met was really put out by us, made us feel really like an inconvenience. My dutch friend apologised about the way she spoke to us and was disgusted as she was so surprised by her angry manner towards us. On my last day I went down hoping to find someone, as normally all the doors were locked. I found the same person, asked about how to check out I was told to find her as she will be around, walking, very busy , then later I came to see her she just said , " yeah , OK " and then turned around and walked off . And that was it . Checked out No thank you , or how was your stay blah blah . Just ,yeah , go away . Awful This is a very expensive hotel , It's location does not compensate for completely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE , UNCOMFORTABLY LOUD NOISE INSIDE YOUR ROOM , UNCOMFORTABLE SLEEP , and too hot in your room.It felt like a hostel with nice sheets and cost me nearly 850.00 for three nights .Would recommend for the location , but there is another hotel beside it and others. I'll be staying there next time.
