  : I called ahead because our flight landed late in the evening and we wouldnt be able to get there for check in. So they said they will leave the key in a key box outside and gave me a code. The key wasnt there. When we finally got to the room there was a bad smell, the door of the room barely closed and the light from the hall was shining through, the bed sheets were smelling especially the blanket. The window wouldnt even open. The bathroom was the worst! The tub wasnt even attached to anything, it was shaking and you could even see the under of the tub, when we opened the water the water started coming from under the tub. The sink water pipe wasnt even working, there was no showering soap. We did not even shower even tho we had a whole day of traveling behind us because the bathroom was so bad! Also in the morning there was nobody for check out so I had to call and spend money for the call just to be told to leave the key on the counter.

  : My husband and I stayed at Olav Digre Hotel from 07/13/23-07/15/23. We booked this hotel a couple of months in advance, because we were going to a concert in Fredrikstad. In addition to the concert, there were several other big events in the area. We could not find ANY hotels in Fredrikstad, so Sarpsborg seemed like a good second choice, only 20 minutes away. We had never visited Sarpsborg before. Driving here, we noticed it is a very depressing, run down city. I dont even know where to start with the hotel! It is the absolute worst hotel we have stayed in, and I really recommend you removing it from booking.com. I do not want others to have to experience this hotel. Upon arrival we noticed how the hotel was in desperate need of A LOT OF TLC. The paint was peeling off, and the wood was rotten. By the entrance there was a display window with a creepy bed (some sheets, an old stuffed animal and a plastic flower) There were no one in the reception, we had to call a phone number, and several minutes later a guy showed up. (I will give it to him that he was friendly.)The whole hotel smelled like cigarettes, and it looked like it had not been updated in 50+ years. The wiring was DEFINITELY not up to code. It was very noisy at night, lots of loud music and talking. The window was rotten, and the bathroom was terrible. The breakfast was gross; cheap and unsanitary. We did not eat breakfast, even if it was included in the price. We had no other options, so we had to stay there two nights. We had been looking forward to a romantic getaway, and everything, but the hotel, was perfect.(The only positive things we could find about the hotel; the bed sheets and towels seemed clean.)We were extremely disappointed, and would like to ask for a full refund. I will attach a few pictures. Again, please consider removing this hotel from your website.

  : From the outside it looked shabby and needed a fresh coat of paint. Lift not working so when going up stairs grabbed the handrail and came away from the wall. Got to the room and walked in again needing freshening up , toilet needs redone . Coffee table was old and needed replaced, window was cracked. The bed spring were sticking up.
