  : Lots of wildlife outside our window. We saw lots of birds, a fox, a possum and a racoon right from our window.

  : We always stay at this hotel when we visit San Simeon/Cambria. It's budget, means you have to bring your own shampoo/conditioner/soap, hairdryer, but it does the job. The hotel is clean, we always take a room wth fridge/microwave (those rooms cost a bit more, but a must if you have kids). It's located right across the highway from the ocean. I mean, we would spend all days outside and come back to the hotel only to sleep.
  : No soundproof windows. If your rooms overlooking ocean/highway, it gets a bit noisy in am, as traffic starts.

  : Terrible value for the $. NO amenities, not shampoo, no hair dryer, no pad of paper and pen, no kleenex, no coffee pot, like camping inside.

  : The location was good. Pet friendly. Tons of dogs there while we stayed. No extra pet fees.
  : The front desk person was not very friendly. When I called the next morning to ask for the room to be cleaned while we were out I was told I needed to schedule it the day before. He said he could have them bring us towels. I said that would be fine. When we got back that night the towels were never brought over. Also, they did not always answer the front desk phone. There is also a lack of soundproofing. You can hear voices in the hallways and other rooms all through the night. Don’t expect to sleep well unless you sleep very soundly.

  : The power went out for like 4 hrs in the morning before we decided to checked out around (10am). Last 10mins before we left the power came back. SMH No compensation or partial refund. Never again
