  : We have been robbed in this "hotel" !!!!We had booked this pension because the photos with balconies overlooking the seaside were very appealing and the reviews are quite good.1ST SURPRISE - this pension is half a floor of a completely standard building, a building without any charm, nor the pension for that matter.2ND SURPRISE - there was scaffolding on the side of the building where our room was and that the view was almost totally obstructed. On Booking, they indicate on in the paragraph "To Know" - Due to renovation work on the facade of the NEIGHBORING building, noise disturbances are to be expected between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. This did not correspond to the reality as the scaffolding and the works are directly on one of the facades of the pension, at least for the rented room, and this was mentioned NOWHERE, otherwise we would have not booked this room!On our arrival, they offered to change establishment and reimburse us for our stay, which we tried to do. Obviously, due to high season, everything was full in San Sebastian. There were only 2 or 3 establishments left but overpriced.3TH & WORST SURPRISE EVER - So we stayed, and after the 2nd day, we got robbed in the bathroom while we were sleeping!! All of my girlfriend's jewelry was stolen. And there was a fairly large sum. The theft most certainly occurred by someone who climbed the scaffolding (the pension was only on the 2nd floor of the building) and entered the bathroom through the window. We have left the bathroom window open for the fresh air, we couldn't imagine that no protection against intrusion detection had been put in place, during the works, no alarm on the scaffolding, no cameras, just accessible for anybody to climb up to your room!Apart from the moral trauma for my companion, who lost all of her jewelry, the pension refused to take ANY responsibility and suggest we met in court.Shame on you and see you in court.
