  : The staff will greet you, which is nice. The look of the facilities is beautiful, and the surrounding area is great.
  : We booked through expedia for a two night stay, which came out $1200. When we checked out, we were charged $1500. You get taxed for each day you stay, there are upcharges for no reason, valet charges, and automatic gratuity, which all came to $300. You're supposed to get a $40 per day food voucher, but we didn't use it for one of the days but didn't receive a credit for it. It's so frustrating when these hotels all of these hidden charges at the backend. It's not worth it. I could have gotten an AirBnB full house for that much, and I would have been shown upfront how much all of the charges would be. Also, we paid for a room with a fire pit and then the fire pits didn't work all weekend.

  : Smoke detector in room has a bright flashing white light every few seconds. Irritating at night.Thermostat display goes from dim to bright every couple minutes. Irritating at night.Saturday morning about 9::00, no hot water in shower. Undersized water heater?Tried to use men's restroom near lobby, but both toilets were out of service.The complementary shuttle service is too limited. Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park (3.0 miles away) is too far for the shuttle. Even The Coach House (1.8 miles away) is too far for the shuttle.

  : The location was excellent. We were able to walk to restaurants and the mission. The hotel bar and lobby were very nice with plenty of areas for gathering.
  : This hotel is very pricey. The pool area was small with limited seating. The room size was standard and we expected more than the view of a parking lot for the price.
