: A few minutes walk to the harbour area where all the restaurants, bakery, and supermarket is located. Nice view of the town and Harbour area.
: Unfortunately the apartment is very poorly equipped and to prepare food will not be possible unless pots, pans and cooking utensils are upgraded. There was only one filleting knife in the kitchen and no knife to cut bread for example. No wine glasses. The kitchen sponges/towels were dirty so we went to the supermarket to buy new ones. The bathroom towels were extremely small and it would be a great improvement if the hostess can offer regular sized towels. The small fridge/ freezer was also not cold when we arrived and only really started cooling our food by the next day. There was also no salt/pepper or any other spices like all other rentals have. Small patio with an awning which is absolutely essential as the patio gets direct sunlight. As in all Croatia the restaurants are incredibly expensive with the best value at Adagio for hamburgers. Communication from the hostess was not great as there were certain things that couldve made our stay much nicer if she just made an effort to inquire how our stay was as she lives downstairs.Overall Dugi Otok its a great island worth spending 2 to 3 nights. Certainly thought the southern half of the island is much nicer than the northern parts.
