: This is a guest house in an excellent location. Rooms look-on to a rear courtyard, so are very calm.Staff very helpful and friendly and the rooms are comfortable.
: If you are staying for more than one or two days, the breakfast is a bit repetitive, but satisfactory.

: You can't beat the location! Irina speaks good English and so very helpful from answering all our questions before the trip to ordering taxis for us during our stay. On my birthday she was so thoughtful to give me a card and a box of chocolate. It's such a great experience of family feel while we stayed there. We highly recommend this hotel.

: Fantastic location! On Nevsky (most famous street in the city); when you exit the courtyard, you look across at Palace Square and the Hermitage. Great access to sites and Metro (Admiralty Station just 2 blocks away). Medium-size twin beds room with high ceilings and good window; good bathroom, storage; small refrigerator in room; adequate wifi connection. Drinking water for bottle refills available. We did find a small market near the Admiralty Metro nearby so we bought our own museli, yogurt and other for our breakfasts.
: Staff was a bit difficult to deal with and not very helpful. Very little English spoken. Breakfasts are "fixed" as they are "ordered" in Styrofoam cartons from somewhere else. The oatmeal was fine but little variety and a disappointment--especially compared to offerings we experienced in Russia at other guesthouses similar price. Staff was very fussy about use of the kitchen. And, while in many countries it is polite to leave muddy shoes right outside the room door, here we did after a rain and we got a very strident note (big bold letters) telling us to "keep your shoes inside your room!" Too bad we experienced these "uncomfortable vibes" as otherwise the location and room were great! Note: You do have to go through a big gate on Nevsky and walk back through a courtyard; then up a rather dreary flight of stairs to a door that only has "10" on it with now reference to the 3 Nevsky Guesthouse. We had trouble finding it...but eventually got help.

: - The place was clean and quiet.- It was close to the Hermitage and shops.- The younger staff lady was very friendly and helpful, spoke good English.- You can walk along the road to look at shops.
: - The older staff lady wasn’t very helpful and she always looked angry, couldn’t speak English well. We didn’t feel welcome. Needs to have a service mind.
