  : Bed reasonably comfortable
  : Parking area appalling- wet, muddy would be easy to rectify. Breakfast simply juice, croissants and pains au chocolate. No shower - including an over the bath option. Bed linen all dark coloured and creased so whilst sure it was clean it did not appear so. Nowhere to hang clothes or place anything in the room. Hot water dangerously hot. Biggest issue though was that despite having had several opportunities to tell us it was not until our departure that the owner told us we had to pay cash. He explained that this was because he does not run the property as a commercial business so has to do so (!). The owners understanding of English seemed to decrease massively when money was discussed! All blame was put on booking.com. The nearest ATM was miles away. The owner watched us empty every last centime from wallets and pockets and threw it in his tin. Whilst we acknowledge that ultimately he accepted 8 Euro less absolutely nowhere on any booking.com info or at the property did it state cash only

  : Unbeatable, fabulous location. The chateau is magnificent! Room and en-suite were huge!! The owner met us, he was lovely, helpful and welcoming. Great breakfast, although on third morning a bit more variety on offer would have been nice.Small things....the huge chateau must be hard to keep clean, it wasa bit dusty here and there. Huge room, standard sized French double bed...the huge room can accommodate and would benefit from bigger furniture and a sofa or armchair to sit on. Otherwise, perfect!

  : This chance to stay in a 600 year old Chateau was amazing. The owner gave us a very warm welcome. Breakfast was good. We stayed in the suite on the second floor. The room was large with views all around the extensive grounds. The bed was comfortable and the room well equipped, the spacious bathroom located in the turret had stained glass windows and grey marble suite. We were able to look around this huge piece of history - we were in awe of the many interesting features. It was a pleasure to experience this visit. Thank you for this great opportunity.
  : If you like quirky and unique then this is an opportunity not to be missed. We were pleased to have selected this room. Access by the spiral stairs or the quaint and cosy lift.
