  : Great stop for one night on our way down to Montpellier. Its right outside St. Flour, which is a beautiful town to explore. The beds were comfy, shower was nice, and the parking situation was ideal.

  : We have stayed at Cantal Cottages on our drive both north and south for many years now. The location is excellent, breakfast superb, cleanliness always first rate. We will continue to stay there (hopefully) for many more years.
  : Reception could have been open rather earlier.

  : Cantal Cottages is the ideal location for us to break our journey south. Very convenient to the motorway. We stay here every year both travelling south and north and have never been disappointed. It is cosistently clean and the staff both friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.

  : Friendly reception staff upon check-in. The hotel room was very clean as was the bathroom. It is very close to the motorway so perfect for an easy stop-over. You can park directly outside your own hotel room which is great for taking in your luggage etc. The room was pretty spacious and the bed was nice and comfy, the wif-fi worked very well. The shower was nice and hot. The rooms feel nice and secure even though they open directly outside/carpark.
  : There are no basic amenities in the room such as a kettle and coffee/tea. You are told upon arrival that you are not allowed to eat in the rooms which is ridiculous and is not advertised prior to booking the hotel room (this is information is provided via document in the hotel room). The air con would be inadequate during the warmer months as it didn't get very cold at all. In the immediate vicinity there is no where to eat such as a restaurant or takeaway. The only option was a nearby petrol station for a sandwich so it would be best to aim to eat prior to arriving the hotel.
