  : Friendly proprietor, great price. Small room, but adequate. Very nice to have fridge with freezer AND microwave.
  : Not much of a town. Not great restaurant choice. This is not motel's fault. Was hoping for dark sky, but night was overcast.

  : Cell phone signals were bad but Wi-Fi made up for it we asked the office manager not to go in our room but just bring towelz when needed but she went in our room anyway when we were away. This is unacceptable

  : Nothing! The room was very very dated and smelled like rotten milk! Had to go buy Lysol to he able to stay in room. It looked like a crack motel!!

  : I arrived about 8:30 pm. The office was closed. I dialed the phone number on the door and the woman who answered said they had not taken reservations for 6 months. All the rooms were occupied by permanent residents. I kept getting confirmation emails up until the week before my trip. I was in a very rural area with very few motels. I called your number and gave my reservation number but when I entered the pin number, the robot kept asking over and over for my pin number. This is the worst service I've experienced from any travel web site.
  : I didn't like my inability to get help when I'm out in the boondocks with my dogs trying to find a room.

  : A cancellation/refund request was made a few hours after the booking due to a family emergency. The standard cancellation fee was 1 night. I was given the option to take the 1 night, or request an exception. I asked for an exception as my daughter was in the Emergency Room at UofM Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor - definitely not a planned event. I was told by Booking.com they had reached out to the property requesting the exception. It is now 5 days later and no response from the Hotel according to Booking.com in reference to any type of cancellation refund - not even the 1 night stay charge. The full amount of our stay has been charged and cleared the bank. We're not talking a huge amount of money - as we were only going to be there a couple nights. We understand the cancellation /refund policy but it would have been nice to at least get a reply - either a "sure, we'll help you out" or at the very least "Nope - you will be charge the standard 1 night fee" - and then refund the rest. Our stay according to booking.com is listed as complete - no reference to being cancelled, or any refund activity - and the option to send the Hotel a message is a dead link. Correction, we did get a "Thanks for Your Stay" email - too bad we were never there. This is just messed up.
