  : -Early check-in-Clean room and nice sheets/towels-Lovely patio in the garden where we could sit and have wine in the afternoon-Very nice hosts who recommended the best reasonably-priced seafood buffet weve ever had in our lives at Jakobs Fish House (book before you get here as they fill up very fast) -Also recommended by the hosts was a gorgeous walk along the river and harbor after stuffing ourselves with seafood. All within walking distance of the guesthouse. -Safe storage for our e-bikes and right along the Eurovelo 12. -Fabulous breakfast for purchase that included coffee/tea, fresh fruit/muesli/yogurt, homemade bread, jams, butter, and a hot egg dish. -Coffee and tea was waiting for us in the afternoon when we arrived. -Grocery store 500 meters away. -The cutest French bulldog named Wilma was available to give pets and scratches to.
  : Walls are a bit thin so you hear your neighbors above and below. No fault of the hosts but you might want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

  : The proximity to the Frederikshavn ferry terminal - 15 minute drive as well as providing a good base for exploring northern Jutland and Sby were the key factors for us in staying here. Both Torben and his wife made us very welcome and were able to make recommendations for our stay. Whilst the property is beside a busy road, the traffic reduced substantially in the evening and the windows of our room were effective in their sound proofing.
  : We would have preferred blackout blinds in our room - given that at the time of our stay the sun rose before 5.00 a.m. In addition, at the time of our stay there was some exterior building work being undertaken directly outside our room. On the Monday (the only week day of our stay) the work and a delivery by lorry commenced before 6.30 a.m. In addition, the glass in our bathroom was not obscured which meant that the workmen could see directly into it unless the blind was down.

  : Breakfast was very good. Location is great for those travelling with a vehicle. Forest area near is beautiful and nice to walk.
