  : Room was clean and well presented, lots of space with good facilities. The bed was comfortable and arranged nicely.
  : Although the room was well presented it was let down by the woodwork on the desk and table being scarred by what I imagine was water damage. Other areas of wood work were tired and in need of attention e.g. the bath tub side panel. There was only one arm chair, and the table was very small. The rooms was vert spacious, but could have been utilized better.

  : The hotel has great potential, but in my opinion needs a complete makeover/upgrade. The interior is faded and worn and requires re-decorating. The reception is a desk in the entrance hall, with chairs around it and a faded curtain behind which did not close.. Very un-professional. The room was clean and comfortable but tired. Went down for breakfast. The sausages were undercooked, the hash browns were overcooked and looked burned. The staff were pleasant, but dressed causally. A proper uniform would have looked better. The outside grounds and driveway appeared unkempt and in need of attention. I wasn't offended by the hotel, but went recommend it as a desirable place to stay.

  : Breakfast and dinner were very good, especially the vegetarian curry, which was excellent.

  : The staff were very friendly and professional. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel was very good and had a lovely bar . A good location for both leisure and business..the hotel has lots of atmosphere and history.
  : The menu just needed to be a little larger, maybe a couple of extra options on each course. Being an ex head gardener, I always have a good look around the grounds. It just needs a little work . Trimming of the trees and bushes opening up the view of the grounds and hotel. The grounds would be then extra special, they are good now but need that work to make them fantastic.
