  : Great location on edge of Nevis range, short drive from Fort William. A great base to explore the region from. The house is a lovely modern setting, with a well equipped kitchen, good beds and showers - we wanted for nothing. Spotless on arrival, with everything set up to handle Covid restrictions. Lovely relaxing in the garden, watching the birds and wildlife and letting the world pass by. House set at end of a very quite track so very safe for the kids to roam around and explore. All the neighbours we met were very friendly and welcoming. Nuala , a beautiful collie from across the road was a very welcome guess in the garden playing with our two boys, who also took her off for walks each day. There is a cottage close behind the cottage, partially obsuring the view, of Ben Nevis but there is more that enough wonderful views to go around.
  : Midges - not much you can do other than be prepared to run inside as their numbers grow in the summer evenings.
