: We were met by the hostess / owner on arrival (and we arrived around 21.00). We had a ground floor apartment which was spacious and had a little front garden. Based on booking.com photos I was not sure whether the apartment will be on the ground or on the upper floor. Some photos showed balcony and view from balcony. However, these are for apartment for 4 and 6 people. The one for 2 people is on the ground floor and that's what we had. It was spacious, with a great comfortable bed, a large living room and a large bathroom. A little space in the front garden was great to chill in the late evening or have a coffee in the morning. In terms of location, it is 30 min walk from the beaches, however we rented bicycles and were there in no time at all... in about 5-7 min. In terms of walking into town, the 20 min or so it takes is actually pleasant with a few great restaurants on the way. Right next to the apartment there are 3 big supermarkets with everything one would need. There is no need to drive; these are 5 min walk. Back to our hosts / owners - they live in the building as well and are there if anything is needed; great people and very easy to communicate with... I highly recommend the place to anyone coming to Rovinj.
: The WiFi worked, however mid-morning the signal was breaking up. I had to work for a few days, so occasionally I had to switch to the hotspot on my phone for the conference calls. However, other than a few glitches mid-morning, it was on without any issues for 2 weeks were there. For most people who come to Rovinj without work obligations, the WiFi is more than adequate.
