  : lLovely location, easy to find and we managed to find parking spaces along the road outside easily enough but it could be harder in the Summer, i dont know.Friendly welcome and Joys husband kindly carried our case up the stairs to room 4 at the top. It was clean and comfortable , nice view across to the river. We only stayed one night but would happily return. No complaints at all !

  : The Whitehouse is in a fabulous location, right on the edge of town, near the river. Theres a couple of pubs close by, both serving excellent food. Joy, our host, was helpful and welcoming. We rented the whole of the house with a group of friends. The rooms are comfortable, the biggest room has a fabulous bathroom and dressing room while the other rooms have a small en-suite. The lounge and dining room are lovely comfortable areas to sit in. The kitchen is very well equipped, although we didnt actually cook anything as we ate out all the time.
  : There is on street parking although there are parking restrictions. We had 4 cars and there were only 2 permits so it was a bit of juggling around to find a place to park. Fortunately there is a free car park a short walk away. Its an old, characterful property so some of the en-suites were tiny and not easy to manoeuvre in. We also found unpleasant smells of smoke and cats in some parts of the house.
