: Small but well-equipped apartment in an idyllic location. We wanted to spend a few nights away from the city noise so we brought shopping and cooked in both nights, had a good night's sleep and woke up early for spectacular views of Martignano lake.

: Very friendly and helpful owner who offered us a free upgrade to a bigger apartment, which indeed was much more comfortable for four people. The BBQ and outdoor eating spaces were very much appreciated. Easy walking distance to the beautiful lake which was lovely and quiet.
: One of the attic rooms in the apartment was very hot with no fan or aircon so ended up using the sofa bed instead of that room, as there was a nice breeze downstairs.

: Location of the lake - amazing
: Attitude of the owner Yes we made ah honest mistake by bringing our cat from Rome However If the owner on discovering this fact had spoken to us we would have apologized and taken our cat back to Rome . It was our fault entirely based on bringing our cat to multiple hotels and apartments in Italy . My husband speaks fluent Italian so language was not the barrier As it was he sent an inflammatory and peremptory email . That same day in the morning a staff member entered our property ( the garden ) without permission and spent time peering into the house . What made this deeply unacceptable was our 16 year old daughter was lying asleep at the time - this was a gross infringement of our privacy and led to her terminating the stay as she felt uncomfortable to be alone in the property . On the other hand the little restaurant at the beach served delicious food and the staff were charming Its a shame as we have visited the lake many times and see it as a sanctuary of peace . I had booked the property during the long months of lock down in order to regain calm and recharge my soul . Instead I left feeling like a despised criminal who had to be checked up on before leaving to ensure we had nor damaged the property . All because of an honest mistake
