: Breakfast was excellent. Room was comfortable and quiet. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. There was even an iron in the room which is rare in Europe.

: The hosts at this hotel were very friendly and informative about the area. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever had, great choices and eggs cooked to order. Could not be better Nice to have an outside garden to sit in after a busy day touring.

: There is a lot to recommend this place, but I personally would not go back for one reason: it is very close to a church which rings it's bell EVERY FIFTEEN MINUTES ALL NIGHT LONG. And on the hour, it rings four times PLUS the number of the hour. So, at midnight, it's 4 + 12 rings. Now, if you close your window tightly, and if you are a heavy sleeper like my wife - no problem! But for me, a light sleeper - I did not get a single good night's sleep there. In fact, we left before our reservation was complete. I repeat: there are many good things about this place, including the breakfast and the fact that the proprietors are VERY nice and helpful. You DO NEED A CAR. There is only ONE place to eat within walking distance - about a 20 min walk.
