  : The rooms were great and location couldn't be beat. For the most part, everyone was helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The cleanliness was really appreciated. Beds were very comfortable.
  : We had constant trouble with the computer operated elevators. The instructions are not clear and even the staff couldn't get them to work in order for us to get to the garage level for our car. The garage access is not clearly marked and is very confusing when checking out.

  : It was very confusing as the Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn shared the same building. One lobby was on the 1 st floor and the other on the second. I have never seen this before. The elevator on the parking floor I parked at was not in service, so my 78-year-old mother and myself had to walk up a parking garage ramp to access a working elevator. One in the room, it was average and the free breakfast was a plus, but food was just ok.
  : Elevator wait time, breakfast food and price. I paid a total of $325 for a 3 star hotel.

  : Hotel room was comfortable and had a nice view. We loved the gym. We liked the location in Richmond downtown a lot. Staff was friendly and helpfull.
  : We got confused by the two hotel-name-situation. We booked at Homewood Suites, but parking garage was named after the second hotel. Elevator had tapes at the skirtings. Breakfast was rather simple. I would like to have some kind of vegetable and cheese.

  : We went for a one day for a trip.Figured the location was close to the convention centre,eventhough entrance was confusing because it was inside a post office,We didn't mind that,once we got the hang of it.So, a ggod night rest will be agood start.But,no,around 10 pm to 2 am,the loud ,deafening music on top of our room( floor 19) totally ruined our stay.Kept on calling the front desk,but no one responded.It totally ruined our trip.No rest at night.I want to alert other customers to be aware of the floor 19 and also no response when you call the front desk at night.Will not stay at this hotel again,

  : AC was definitely broken, the room was so hot when we woke up. And the sliding door to the shower was broken so the bathroom had very little privacy if someone was getting ready at the main sink.

  : The breakfast had a nice selection. The room had everything I needed. Nothing fancy but had the essentials
  : The emergency alarm went off and an announcement was heard on the intercom that we had to evacuate and could not use the elevator. I went down 16 flights of stairs. We were never informed what the actual emergency was and no announcement was made that we were clear to come back in. We kinda had to guess by asking around. Very poor communication. This was 10pm when I was trying to relax after a long day. While standing outside the hotel, a man off the street who appeared to be homeless or seeking an opportunity, gathered in the same group as me. He proceeded to follow me inside the hotel, elevator, and watch me. I knew he was suspicious and wasn't staying there so I got off on a floor that wasn't my own. He followed me out the elevator. I ended walking with a man whom I didn't know, which deterred the man following me. I shared with the patron that he was following me. The patron got him to leave. I later called the front desk confirm he was out of the hotel. I had a hard time sleeping thinking a potential emergency happening again while I slept or the homeless man attempting to find me. Staff generally was not friendly or seem to care much about being helpful. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience.
