Riverbend #2-Private hot tub - close to ski slopes

  : The place was great. Extras: the mountain stream is right outside; the mountain stream provides the right amount of background white noise without being disturbingly loud; the house is stocked with a wide selection of DVDs; the house is roomy with space for 6 people; the kitchen has everything you need; there are some great restaurants just minutes away; there is shops (local mini-market and a Dollar General) just minutes away; check-in was easy.
  : We visited during a unusual Oregon heatwave with daytime temperatures about 95F on Mt Hood and nighttime lows in the 70s. That made the house warmer than we would like and we had to keep the windows open. With open windows, there was noise from the road outside at night and from the neighbors (other guests in the other cabin). I think this was a rare imperfection. There was also a burn ban in effect so we could not use the firepit.

  : It was very peaceful. Exactly what needed. Super close to food and hiking. The river was awesome. So enjoyed listening and sitting next to it. Truly appreciated letting me bring my bestie
  : The hot tub felt a little slimy, but I used it. Water smelled like sulfur. Glad I brought some and you warmed me.

  : We loved the river right out back and we loved the hot tub! The house overall was very cute! Almost everything about our stay was wonderful! BONUS: condiments were well stocked (THANK YOU!)
  : We wish a dishwasher was present. Given that it is a rental unit no one wants to handwash everything after each meal. The time spent washing the dishes could have been spent relaxing. I also thought there would be a washer and dryer too but we didn’t see one.. maybe I read it in another rental but thought it was the one we booked. Lastly, the bed in the upstairs loft was not comfortable at all. My back hurt really bad the last night we were there. I prefer my pillows and mattress more on the firm side so sleeping on a super soft bed plus too soft pillows made us toss and turned a lot.

  : Plenty of sleeping space. Cozy main room with wood stove. Well equipped kitchen . Hot tub was amazing, clean and hot. The view was lovely from the hot tub . Close to stores and restaurants (2-5 min drive) . 30 mins to meadows ski resort. 20 to ski bowl and timberline.
  : Not the clearest instructions involving payment or check in. Outdoor lights were non-existing and walk to entrance from parking was treacherous at night. The house was freezing when we checked in and the heat is only out of individual vents that are either on or off, so you can't control temperature of the house. It's either freezing or way over heated and dry. WiFi was very weak.
