Kokkini Porta Rossa is a boutique hotel situated in the Medieval Town of Rhodes. It features 6 individually decorated suites with hand-picked items free minibar and WiFi. Fitted with Coco-Mat hypoallergic mattresses and a menu of six different pillows for the guests to choose from each room here will provide you with a TV air conditioning and a tablet. Complete with a refrigerator the units also have an electric kettle. Featuring a spa bath or a free-standing bath with a hydromassage shower private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and bathrobes.

A welcome treat is offered upon arrival and a farewell present upon departure. Every evening guests are welcome to tea coffee refreshments or wine served free of charge in the salon or the garden. : The property is located at saint Johns gate surrounded by beautiful quiet streets that take your breath away. The rooms are quiet and very comfortable. Everyhting you need is there plus a mini bar that is all included in your stay. An excellent idea and very well laid out. When youre their you have to explore the city and do the walking tour with ALEXIS. Nicos can organize for you. He is great at helping and setting up your day. The technology and support for your activities is excellent. Also highly suggest having dinner at Angelas Castle. It took our breath away. Please know that it is a slower service so take your time and enjoy every minute being served and listening to the music and Greek families eating around you. Also go on a boat cruise with ANASTATIA charters and get a cheap but delicious gyro from HERMES. Another great jeweller is SOULIS which is highly recommended and a lovely man.
: The staff were interesting. My wife and I have travelled extensively and walked away feeling a sense of being unwelcome. Its a weird feeling as the location hotel is stunning. We are younger (29y/o and 26yo) and the owners expressed 0 interest in us yet expressed only welcoming remarks and interest to the older guests. We tried to engage in conversation asking questions and wanting to share stories of our day and travel plans but they had no interest of continuing the conversation. This was not the case with the jeweller, the waiters the captains that we had met during our time in Rhodes. The people are wonderful and curious.This was apparent over cocktail hour with their son playing beautiful piano in the background while they conversed with an older couple from Arizona and in the morning of our checkout when a Spanish older couple arrived and they were so interested in their trip. It was strange seeing as my wifes YAIYAI is from Lardos and they only found out we were leaving back to Lardos and not going to the airport to Canada the morning of.Another example of lack of interest was over breakfast when I wasnt hungry at 9am but rather went down to have a coffee and read my book quietly. Breakfast finishes at 10:30am and hotel checkout is at 11am. Instead of asking what time would you like to eat I was asked why I wasnt sitting at the breakfast table and not eating. My intention was to read quietly enjoying a coffee and the beautiful terrace and then have breakfast around 10am. I was never asked and the food came out for my wife who ate and I didnt as I said I wasnt hungry until later. It was clear that they were trying to get us out of the hotel for their other guests even though it wasnt check out time yet.Its a weird feeling to write a review like this or feel as though someone at a high end establishment didnt care for you. Its saddening to write.
